Position summary
The incumbent will divide their time between the management of their team (20%) and their consulting role with external clients (80%). They will be responsible for supervising a team of consultants and freelancers within the Leadership and Team Development division (based in the province of Quebec), optimizing the operations of this expertise, as well as carrying out client mandates. They will work on a variety of projects involving organizations of all sizes across all sectors. In particular, they will help develop content for training sessions, leadership development paths, and custom workshops, support managers working in multidisciplinary teams, and facilitate training and co-development sessions. These mandates might be carried out in close collaboration with the Toronto office.
Main responsibilities
- Monitor their team’s workload and the allocation of assignments.
- Ensure the engagement, recognition, performance and career development of the members of their team.
- Help create training content on various leadership and team development topics Work with other members of the design and facilitation team.
- Develop and design leadership paths for clients.
- Facilitate workshops for a broad clientele, from first-level management to executive teams.
- Help research and analyze new trends and tools in adult education, creativity techniques, and the innovation process.
- Meet with potential clients, help draft business proposals, and follow up on projects.
- Coordinate large-scale projects and help draft RFPs.
- Participate in the drafting of proposals and demonstrate initiative in business development to support our continued growth.
- Support the implementation and development of organizational and technological changes.
Requirements
- University degree in organizational development, management, organizational psychology, communications, education sciences, or a related field;
- Minimum of five years of experience in management, consulting, advisory services, or human resources;
- Management experience, an asset;
- Bilingualism: orally and in writing (English and French);
- Ability to facilitate group training sessions;
- Ability to design leadership development paths and workshops;
- Client-centred;
- Energetic, creative, and innovative;
- In-depth understanding of leadership;
- Curious with a strong desire to learn;
- Strong ability to summarize information;
- Ability to work in a team, good collaborative spirit;
- Agility in situations of change and ability to handle ambiguity;
- Ability to work within tight deadlines;
- Comfortable working in technological environments and learning new tools and platforms (Zoom, Miro, Asana, etc.);
- Travel for mandates in and outside the province of Quebec;
- ACC or PCC accreditation (an asset).
